Climate Tech Startup Handprint Raises US$2.2m In Seed Funding

CLIMATE technology startup Handprint has raised US$2.2 million in seed funding led by global payments platform Thunes, it announced on Monday (Mar 21).

Launched in Singapore in 2020, Handprint is a software-as-a-service platform that aims to help businesses make a positive impact.

The plugin connects businesses with projects that resonate with their brand, allowing them to choose from a range of projects such as coral reef construction, plastic removal, disaster relief, and more.

The platform enables companies to integrate the projects into their business functions and track the impact made over time as well.

Fresh funds will be used to further expand Handprint’s technology and grow its network of impact partners.

With Thunes’ global payment network, HandpriCurrently, Handprint has garnered the support of several companies such as Lazada, food chain Saladstop and global media company Teads.

“This funding round will enable us to accelerate our vision to build the tools that help companies go beyond offsets and play their part in regenerating the planet,” Handprint’s chief executive officer
